Hi, I’m Eric Selchert, a wildlife and landscape photographer based in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, near the breathtaking Black Hills. My passion for the outdoors has shaped my life, from my five years serving in the Navy to a decade working in the wildlife biology field. Now, through photography, I capture the beauty of the natural world and share it with others.

My focus is primarily on wildlife, documenting the raw and untamed moments of nature, but I also enjoy capturing the landscapes that make this region so special. Whether I’m out in the Black Hills, trekking through the prairies, or traveling to new destinations, my goal is to bring the wild to life through my lens.

Beyond photography, I love being outdoors—hunting, fishing, camping, and exploring with my wife and three sons. Nature has always been a central part of my life, and photography allows me to preserve and share those experiences.
